Cheryl Sonnier has an MFA in Creative Writing, with Distinction, from Manchester Writing School. Originally from a mining town in South Yorkshire, she has lived in several American states, and now lives in Leeds with her husband and two cats, close to her adult daughter and son. Firmly embracing her hag phase, Cheryl got her first tattoo at 62 (the mothership featured in the site logo, designed by her son) and is planning a second. Cheryl writes fantasy and science fiction, and stories about working class people.
